| Content: | Two Tsing Yi Graduates, Chan Yik-Hei 陳奕希 (graduate of Higher Diploma in Game Software Development 遊戲軟件開發高級文憑畢) and Chong Tak Ki 莊德奇 (graduate of Higher Diploma in Software Engineering 軟件工程高級文憑) obtained medallion for excellence awards in the trades of "Web Design and Development" and "IT Software Solutions for Business" of the WorldSkills Competition 「世界技能大賽」held in Abu Dhabi from 15 to 18 October 2017 respectively. Chan Yik-hei obtained the 5th position out of 35 countries while Chong Tak-ki obtained the 6th position out of 27 countries. Hailed as the "Skills Olympics", the biennial WorldSkills Competition attracted over 1,300 talented young people from some 60 countries and regions, contesting 51 skills competitions. |
