| Content: | On 21 March, 2002, thirty students and five teaching staff of ICT/IVE(Tsing Yi) visited the Zhongshan Universtiy in Guangzhou. They were welcomed by the head of the Department of Applied Statistics and Computing when they arrived. Students from the two institutes gave presentations to one another. ICT students and Zhongshan University students both participated in a group discussion session. ICT students were impressed by the mathematical strength of Zhongshan University students and Zhongshan University gave ICT students compliments on the presentation and communication skills. The lecturers of the Zhongshan University showed appreciation on the practical aspects of ICT/IVE(TY) curriculum. They look forward to future collaboration with us. |
